RE: Texas Class Action – Motion for Class Cert. on for June 7th
Dear Class Members:
Things are heating up. Attached are directions for the New Jersey Motion for
Class Certification on for Thursday, June 2nd in Freehold, New Jersey.
Also attached please find a great decision in New York against Sterling. This
Judge backs up the ruling in New Jersey which finds that the contracts are
void because of the fraud of Norvergence. click here
For you Texans, June 7th there will be a hearing on the Motion for Class
Certification in Beaumont, Texas against Popular Leasing. Lenny Vitullo, our
class action counsel out in Texas, has done a superb job. In the next month
leading up to the hearing, Class Cert. discovery will take place which will
likely yield significant information. We will seek to depose the top
executives at Popular that were involved with Norvergence and get to the
bottom of it. CIT is also named in the Texas action and we will start
discovery on them as well in the near future.
Also, check out the new website organized by class members/former Norvergence
customers at www.lesseerights.org. I have been told that the site will be
used by small businesses to consolidate information, organize and monitor
updates in the fight against leasing company unjust practices against small
business.
